Setting Up Tournament Entry Fee Discounts

This guide shows you how to set up discount codes for your tournament entry fees.

Before You Begin

• Your Stripe account must be connected in Club Settings
• Your tournament must be set up with entry fees enabled

Creating a Discount Code

1. Go to your Stripe Dashboard
2. Navigate to Product catalog > Coupons
3. Click "Create Coupon"
4. Choose your discount type:
   • "Amount off" for a fixed dollar amount discount
   • "Percentage off" for a percentage-based discount
5. Set the duration to "Once"
6. (Optional) Set an expiration date - perfect for early bird discounts
7. Enter a coupon code that participants will use
8. Click "Create coupon"

Using Discount Codes

When participants register for your tournament, they can enter the discount code during checkout. The discount will automatically apply to their entry fee.

Managing Existing Discounts

To view or manage your existing discount codes:

1. Go to your Stripe Dashboard
2. Navigate to Product catalog > Coupons
3. Here you can view usage statistics and disable codes if needed

Note: Once created, discount codes cannot be edited. If you need to make changes, you'll need to create a new code and disable the old one.
